The 48th Mountain View Art & Wine Festival, coming up September 7-8, is a festival like no other. An authentic and moveable feast for the senses. The cool, vibrant multicultural Castro Street vibe. Silicon Valley’s World-Class Art & Music Festival is a spectacularly fun celebration of life featuring 500 professional artists and craftmakers showing exceptional handcrafted wares, stellar live music on stage and street throughout downtown, the Xfinity Pigskin Party Lounge with football and baseball on the giant screen TV, fabulous food and drink with premium wines, seasonal craft beer, low-carb hard seltzer, refreshing sangria, mimosas, Bellini’s, fresh-fruit margaritas, classic Bloody Mary’s and Summer Breeze Mules – the signature craft cocktail, artisan specialty food purveyors, sensational young performers strut their showstopping stuff on the Mountain View’s Got Talent Facebook Community Stage, Super Duper Kids’ Park with ultra thrilling bungee jumping, wild and wacky waterballerz, a 24’ rock climbing wall, giant inflatables, super cool henna art, glitter tattoos and face painting, sand art creative cards, exotic hair braiding, Stay Cool Misting Tent, Cornhole Tossing game area, check out latest and greatest travel and outdoor apparel at the big Royal Robbins #BeyondTheMap Tour Safari Tent, see and test drive the 2019 Toyota Mirai Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle, plus sweet sponsor swag giveaways and free samples of White Claw Hard Seltzer and Larabar, an organic and green products showcase, home and garden exhibits, health and wellness displays and home and garden exhibits. Festival admission is free. Presented by the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce.

Exceptional Art, Fine Crafts … 500 of America’s top artists and craftmakers show original work in ceramics, fiber, glass, fine art, jewelry, leather, metal, paper, sculpture, and wood. Gorgeous vases, flatware, clocks, dishes, wall and table decorations, stained and beveled glass, etchings, sculptures, photography, oil and watercolor paintings, jewelry, vests, handbags, hats, wallets, footwear, and waterfalls will be among the fine wares available.

Sacred Fire, a Santana tribute bandStellar Live Music and Entertainment Everywhere … get ready – the greatest two days of live music Mountain View has ever experienced is coming with thirteen sensational bands performing on the Recology Concert Stage in Civic Center Plaza and multiple locations throughout downtown. The dynamite, non-stop music lineup includes the big Saturday Into The Groove Dance Party (4:45-7 p.m.) featuring powerhouse party band What The Funk! plus a stellar bill with The Jesse Charles Band, Santana Tribute band Sacred Fire, Drive, Fog City Swampers, The Element, Blue House, Emerson & The Growiser Band, Bob Culbertson, John Clarke, Stephen Dreyfuss, EllaHarp, and Ancient Winds.

Complete with a fully functional smoke stack and custom designed interior, Dolores takes professional quality photos that are printed instantly for you to hold as keepsake for years to come. Digital photos are also available.

Viva Plastic! Pay for drink tickets and glasses by credit card at the Ticket/Glass booths spread throughout the festival.

Public Transit: Ride Caltrain, VTA Light Rail or Bus service to the festival – you’re dropped off at the festival doorstep! Get details.

Bicycle ParkingAvoid the traffic congestion and ride your bike. Free centrally located and highly visible bicycle parking will be offered near the corner of Castro and Church Streets thanks to Friends of Stevens Creek Trail. Please bring your own lock.

Vehicle ParkingFree parking is available on streets and parking plazas surrounding the downtown area. Paid parking ($5) will be available both days (beginning at 9:30 a.m.) at these locations: 400 Castro Street (parking lot entrance on Bryant Street), 444 Castro Street (parking lot entrance on Bryant Street), Kaiser Permanente (555 Castro Street –– parking lot entrance on Hope Street), and the City of Mountain View parking Lot #12 (on Bryant between California and Mercy Streets). Parking fees benefit KMVT.
